We're going to be reviewing the Black and Decker WP900 6-Inch Random Orbit WaxerPolisher today. It's very unique. The shape is not like any other polishers that we reviewed. It's not made primarily for cars and boats. In fact, the tool is more popular among homeowners. You can use it to polish any kind of home flooring, wood, furniture, glass, steel, tiles, and table. So, we will not focus on its automotive use only. We will also take a look at how it performs as a home tool.
'Home, car and boat'
The company called the Black & Decker started as a machine shop and became popular for creating Do It Yourself home tools specifically in lawn and garden category. From there, you'll easily get a hint as to why the Black and Decker WP900 6-Inch Random Orbit WaxerPolisher is very versatile and user/home friendly, definitely not made for professional car detailing use.

Tips
For better performance and easier use, we recommend buying a more reliable pad. The pad that comes with the machine isn't as durable and can easily burn or rip off in a few hours of use.
We also recommend buying a velcro strip so you can turn it into a hook and loop tool. That way, you can easily attach, remove or replace the pad on the backing plate.
It is highly recommended for light use at home furniture, cars, and boats with light swirls and scratches. Surprisingly, many health car professionals and gym instructors have also recommended this product as a massage. I would not have included this information if I didn't read too many positive reviews stating that the product is a great massager. You can search online on YouTube if you are interested to know how you can use this machine as a massager.

Bad pad, non-hook and loop backing plate, difficult to use power switch, only one choice for speed which is 4400 OPM, not very powerful at only 60 Watt and 0.5 Amp power - are some of the things I don't like about this polisher. But what do you expect from an inexpensive product? I would describe this polisher as a very inexpensive polisher with very simple, average features. It is a serviceable machine for its price.
After further research, it appears that this polisher is most commonly used at home to polish wooden floor, metal, and more.
Overall, it performs, not for heavy duty work but for light use only. Great for homeowners, non-professionals and beginners. I'm giving it a 4 out of 5-star rating because it does its job at a very low price.
Buy or not buy: I highly recommend this to moms at home for household chores and polishing work that needs to be done on the floor, wood furniture or glass window. It is lightweight and easy to use.
I also highly recommend this to car owners who has light swirl marks and scratches on their car.
However, I do not recommend this to professional car detailers. I feel that this machine is not powerful enough and cannot sustain heavy duty work for many hours.
